I was on a 3 week circle trip diving in Truk (Chuuck), Yap and Palau. Late one evening...or was it early the next morning...I was waiting to take off from Truk for Palau. There at the counter was this young man doing a fantastic job of convincing the Continental employee that ALL of his missing dive gear had to be replaced. I turned to the person next to me and said something like: "That guy is going to be great negotiator". I had just spoken to Peter, David's Dad. We continued on to Palau and dived together for the next several days. I always was impressed with David's reading a book in the front of the boat. He was a natural in the water. I will miss him always and am so fortunate to have been a part of that family 'outing' in the Summer of 1998. Sandy Alexander
