David spent the first several yers of his life with his parents, Peter and Hana, in Lausanne, Switzerland. Peter and Hana are originally from Prague, Czech Republic. They came to the United States in 1970 when Peter attended Standford's Graduate School of Business. The family returned to Palo Alto, CA in 1975. David was the oldest of 3 boys. His first brother Misha, was born in 1976 and his youngest brother, Tom, was welcomed to this world in 1977. The family moved to a house in Atherton in 1979 where the boys grew up and where Peter and Hana still live today.
